If you love Swedish cafe’s and are visiting Paris anytime soon, head to Café Smörgås! Here in the heart of the city, you find Nordic cuisine on the menu with a cozy atmosphere.
In Sweden as well as the other Scandinavian countries, a ‘Smörgås’ is a very typical and loved dish. It is an open-faced sandwich covered with different fresh ingredients like for instance salmon, egg or ham. Enjoyed all day long, often accompanied by a large cup of coffee or a mug of tea to warm you up in the winter, or a fresh juice in the summertime.
Located inside the La Trésorerie, a Scandinavian shop full of treasures, the cafe has a cozy and warm interior with a bit of a retro vibe. You can see more of what the shop has to offer on their Instagram account.
Café Smörgås serves lunches like pastries, soups, smörgås, and salads. Everything is organic with the exception of the roasted coffee which is from Paris. The café also offers typical Scandinavian breakfast dishes such as sandwiches, fresh juices, granola or cinnamon buns.
