A couple of weeks ago I visited Luxembourg for the first time, an incredibly cute and lovely place to spend a few days. This is a city with a mixture of French and Germanic cultures and styles, but I managed to discover a couple of Scandinavian gems that I want to share with you!

Scandinavian café

This lovely little café is located in the same building as the Musée National d’Histoire et d’Art, and is the perfect place to stop for a quick bite or coffee, or a beer in the evening. The food selection was great, a mixture of warm and cold dishes such as smørbrød (sandwiches), salads and soups as well as desserts. The interior was minimal and Scandinavian, but with a cozy and homely vibe.

Clothing & accessories store with a Scandinavian approach

Honey \ Mustard is located in the heart of the city, near the Royal Palace. As soon as I spotted this store I could see it had a Nordic style, stepping in I felt like I was back in Scandinavia. The store is beautifully curated with a simplistic and tasteful look and a great selection of Scandinavian brands such as Filippa K, Tiger of Sweden, Norse Projects, Samsoe Samsoe, L:A Bruket and more. A great place for fashionistas looking for Scandinavian style inspiration!

Mandarina hotel
Affordable hotel with a Scandi vibe

This hotel was located a bit outside the city center, but with buses going past regularly it ended up being a great location. The whole building seemed to be newly renovated with a modern and trendy approach. Our room was decorated with many great features like the Normann Copenhagen dropit wall hooks, Vitra chairs, and a very interesting wall lamp.

Have you been to Luxembourg? Although it is small, there is still so much to discover. I fell in love with this cute place and hope to come back soon, just look!
