Last September I went home to Norway to attend the wedding of two of my dear friends Tuva & Mats. It was such a hyggelig celebration I thought it would be nice to share a few images from it here with you. If you follow me on Instagram you might remember some of my stories from the wedding, but finally, I can share some of the photographer Line Owren‘s images from the day. Be prepare to be amazed by the attention to details and beauty of this cozy, unique Norwegian wedding.
Located inside a greenhouse called Alchemilla at Rennesøy, it was the perfect setting for a laid back and fun wedding. The greenhouse was full of vintage pieces of furniture, greenery and even birds chirping which made it even more idyllic.
A mix-match of old traditional Norwegian china on the tables gave the setting a relaxed and vintage vibe. I loved the handwritten place cards on leaves created by the bride – a personal and nice touch and also a great way to tie it in with the nature theme from the location.
After the wedding, there was the option to stay overnight in a tent by Ryfylke Glamping. I have never experienced glamping before (if you don’t know what it is it is basically a portmanteau of glamour and camping), and it was such a fun way to end the celebrations.
And lastly, I wanted to share a few of the images taken before the ceremony. Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
(The stunning bouquet and flower crown worn by the bride and the groom’s boutonniere were created by Stilken & Strøm.)
