MINIMAL, SCANDINAVIAN SUMMER ACCESSORIES

Hello June! Can you believe it is almost summer already? Living in Italy means that the hot weather starts early, and this weekend it already felt almost too warm for this Scandinavian girl (although I am not complaining.)

With summer comes the need for new accessories and little updates to my wardrobe. I was so lucky to be gifted these gorgeous, minimal sandals by the Swedish brand Gram, and after wearing them all weekend I’m already thinking they will be my go-to sandals this summer. Gram creates footwear that fills the gap between sneakers and traditional shoes. Their roots lie in the Scandinavian design aesthetic; design with clean lines and attention to details with each model being unique in its own simplicity. I love the fact that the brand is centred around the concept of weight, with each model being named after the first sample’s weight in grams – these ones are called 189g. I have the nude black leather model, but they also come in blue green leather, black leather and black nude leather.

The 189g sandals are so comfy, I was surprised by how good they felt even after walking all day. The circle shaped upper and double straps will shape smoothly around the foot, and the sole is made from soft memory foam for the ultimate comfort. With their casual but sleek elegance, they are perfect for lazy summer days as well as evenings out when dressing up.

Another new addition to my wardrobe is the Oliver sunglasses I was kindly gifted by Norwegian brand Harper & Brooks. These unisex frames have a classic and timeless look and feature a rounded shape and keyhole bridge. They are also equipped with a Polarised lens with UV 400 protection, which is so important when we spend so much time outside. Harper & Brooks care about quality, and all of their products are thoughtfully designed in Oslo, Norway.

To get you ready for summer, Harper & Brooks has created a discount code to get 15% off on any sunglasses or watches from their website. Simply browse their webshop here and use the code SCANDIFEELING at checkout.

*I was gifted the sandals from Gram & the sunglasses from by Harper & Brooks, but all the thoughts and opinions are my own.
