HOMELY TOWNHOUSE IN COPENHAGEN

0

This is the home of Marie Worsaae, a small and beautiful townhouse in Copenhagen’s central Frederiksstaden district. She is one of the co-founders of the Danish lifestyle brand Aiayu and thinks that “things are here to be lived in and used.” I couldn’t agree more!

Her home is a quirky and homely space, full of not only products from Aiayu but also treasures from her travels and discoveries. I love how she makes this white and airy place her own with personal details as well as an earthy colour palette of forest greens, pinks, and gunmetal greys.

My favorite feature is the green kitchen wall, it gives off an organic, natural and lovely vibe.

“I like to buy pieces that become part of my everyday, and stick with me for a long time. Not only classic furniture and great designs of high quality, but things with a little story that is dear to me. I like mixing Danish design with more rustic pieces — I’m not an either/or person. I think Aiayu is the same.” – Marie Worsaae
