Something I noticed from walking around at the Milano Design Week was a trend of paint splatter on different surfaces. Its quite a fun and playful effect that goes really well with the trendy pastel colours but also makes a nice statement in black & white. I have therefore done a little round-up of products with this paint splatter textured effect on;

The new Last Stool Splatter family by Max Lamb for HEM is made from just a single sheet of turned metal, hand-painted and then fired at 800C for a perfect enamel finish. This could be a nice and subtle way to add the trend into your home.

Studio Oyama makes beautiful handmade and hand painted ceramic items like this side plate, a nice decoration to have on the table or even hang up on the wall.
