Break out the sweaters, because sweater weather is here!
If you are looking for the perfect way to stay warm this season, have a look at my picks from a selection of great Scandinavian brands below. Think cozy, soft, comfy & hygge!
For me, one of the top winter essentials are a cozy cardigan to wrap yourself up in. This long line cardigan from Samsøe & Samsøe has been knitted in an alpaca and merino wool yarn, and has a soft and fluffy look. It comes in a selection of lovely shades of grey, as well as darker shades and pink. This one is in white sand, a great shade for winter. I love the minimal details and cut.
You can stay cozy while still looking Scandi-chic. This slouchy jumper from H&M in a soft knit has beautiful beaded embroidery details, dropped shoulders and long, wide sleeves. Great to tuck into tight jeans as seen below, or over a summer dress or skirt with tights.
This bel knitted sweater from House of Dagmar has a timeless and simple silhouette featuring mesh detailing and long sleeves. A classic piece you can layer up with but also something you can keep wearing in all seasons. The delicate and pretty details in the knit gives it that little extra.
& Other Stories always has a great selection of sweaters, this one is knitted from a super soft wool blend. A comfortable sweater with a chic boxy fit with slightly tighter hem and cuffs to create a feminine silhouette. Team it up with leather legging as seen in the photo for a cool but classy vibe.
If you are after a snuggly, lovely sweater then I think you will love this one by Monki. It flares out from the shoulders before tapering at the wrists for a cozy fit, and I love the fact that the colour is called naughty apricot!
I am all for timeless pieces, and love the look of this warm knit from Filippa K made from 100% wool with a contemporary silhouette. The shape is cropped with a slightly puffy feel and the sleeves are extra dropped giving it a relaxed look.
A soft winter layer, this jumper from COS is made from pure, heavyweight cashmere that allows you to keep warm on chilly days. With a slightly cropped fit, it is completed with raglan sleeves and thick ribbed trims. This would be a lovely staple piece in any wardrobe.
This boatneck pullover from Tiger of Sweden is the perfect mix of cozy & stylish. Made from two-toned kid mohair-wool blend with rolled edge at neckline and balloon sleeves it will keep you warm while looking cool at winter.
Red is a hot colour this season, and I love this bright fairy sweater from Weekday. It is a slouchy knit piece with an asymmetrical hemline, giving it a bit of an edge.
If you are not so edgy but still want a bold colour, why not go for a bright blue sweater? This one from Bik Bok is in a beautiful shade and with the name ‘Ingrid pullover’ I feel like it is just screaming at me to purchase it. It has low dropped shoulders, a ribbed neckline, cuffs and hem. The loose fit is very cozy, but dress it up with a skirt and high heels and it could easily be worn to a party.
